The basic purpose of the mineral filling compound is to reduce electrode to soil resistance and to create a low resistance zone surrounding the electrode to provide a uniform environment so that the electrode output is constant. Use of salt & charcoal is eliminated in the method of effective Earthing & instead a specially developed, natural eco friendly material with improved properties is used.

This is non corrosive, has capacity to absorb & retain moisture from the surrounding. Being non soluble in water, it stays at the place and in not washed out by the rain water/underground water. This mineral filling compound is highly conductive.

Ground Resistivity Improver Compound - Jam Plus

Jam Plus is a granulated electrically conductive aggregate which replaces sand in mixes with cement, thereby providing electrically conductive concrete. Electrodes (including copper earth rods) can be encased in Jam Plus mixture to greatly increase their surface area, lowering the resistance to earth. Jam Plus benefits include low resistivity, conduction of current is electronic (not ionic), permanent and stable, increased surface area contact. Jam Plus is has been approved and used by the MOD, electrical utilities, rail systems and water companies.

Other Earthing materials marketed as conductive aggregates include low grade carbonaceous by-products from other industries which include Coal, metallurgical coke, Power station clinker, Carbon Black, Bentonite and others. All of these products can be called conductive with resistivity of 5 ohms meters.
